Lake Myrtle Sports Complex, a multi-purpose sports complex located
in Auburndale, Fla., is the home facility for Polk’s women's
soccer team. The site currently consists of 11 soccer fields, five
baseball fields and facilities to host top-level sports events.
The facility officially opened Dec. 28, 2009, and also houses
two main concession stands, including bathrooms and a meeting space
for events.
All playing surfaces are sodded with type-419 Bermuda grass, are
fully irrigated and lighted. The stadium field is equipped with an
electronic scoreboard and has seating for 1,000 spectators.
This $21-million, state-of-the-art facility is one of the best facilities in the state of Florida.

From Jacksonville: Take I-95 S. Merge onto I-4 W
via Exit 260B toward Orlando. Take the SR-559 exit, Exit 44, toward
Auburndale. Turn left onto SR-559. Continue to follow SR-559. Turn
left onto Gapway Road. Turn left onto Berkley Road. Turn right onto
Lake Myrtle Park Road. Lake Myrtle Sports Complex is on the
right.
From Miami: Take Florida’s Turnpike N. Merge onto SR-60 W via Exit 193 toward US-441/Yeehaw Junction. Turn right onto FL-60W. Merge onto US-27 N. via the ramp to Cypress Gardens/Haines City. Continue on US 27 N. Take the ramp onto US 17B S/US-92 W. Continue on US 92 W. Turn right onto S. Berkley Rd/County Road 655. Turn left onto Denton Ave. Turn right onto Lake Myrtle Sports Complex.
From Orlando: Take I-4 W. Take the SR-559 exit, Exit 44, toward Auburndale. Turn left onto SR-559. Continue to follow SR-559. Turn left onto Gapway Road. Turn left onto Berkley Road. Turn right onto Lake Myrtle Park Road. Lake Myrtle Sports Complex is on the right.
