Former Eagle Spencer Medick Finds Home at Elon

WINTER HAVEN — Former Eagle pitcher Spencer Medick is now settling in at Elon University.

Medick played one season with the Eagles during 2011-12. He posted a 3.21 ERA in 18 appearances for Polk State while striking out 60 hitters in 81.1 innings. For his efforts he earned first-team All-Suncoast Conference honors.

The 6-foot-3-inch pitcher has made a smooth transition from the Junior College level to Division I.
