Eagles soar to third straight conference win

Polk State rolled to its third straight Suncoast Conference win tonight, beating St. Petersburg College 7-4 in St. Petersburg. 

The win makes it three straight against the Titans. 

Starting pitcher Brad Labozetta got the win, working six innings and allowing two runs. 

Jacob Kelley, Jordan Guerrero, Zak Spivy, and Luis Ferrer also pitched for the Eagles. 

Polk State got a two-run home run from Kyle Jackson and a solo homer from Andrew Stroud, who went two-for-four. 

Cole Ondrejka had three hits, Luke Parker doubled and stole a base, and Keith Oren had an RBI single. 

The Eagles (16-7, 3-0, No. 8 in the FCSAA Coaches' Poll) have a five-game winning streak. They play State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Winter Haven.
