Eagles beat South Florida 19-10

Polk State had 17 hits in a 19-10 win over South Florida State College last night in Avon Park. 

Trailing 10-6 after six innings, the Eagles scored 13 runs in the final three innings. 

Zach Biermann went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs, one RBI, and a sacrifice fly. 

Raudy Martinez had two doubles, two runs, two RBI, and a walk. 

Joe Strzelecki went 2-for-five with two runs and two RBI. 

Zach Diewert had three singles, three runs, an RBI, a walk, and a stolen base. 

Skylar Frey collected two singles, two runs, three RBI, and two walks.

Isaiah Cullum singled twice, scored twice, walked twice, and drove in three runs. 

Brandon Gali had two singles, a run, and a walk. 

Cody Burgess scored twice and walked. 

Yeison Gomez had a single, two runs, two walks, and a sacrifice. 

Cole Warken singled, walked, and drove in two runs. 

Tommy Romero picked up the win in relief. 

Jonathan Bermudez started on the mound. Zach Schneider, Chad Tworek, and Justin Tworek worked in relief. 

The Eagles (21-11, 6-5, No. 7 FCSAA) play South Florida State College again tomorrow at 1p.m. at Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven.
