Polk State won its third straight game yesterday, defeating the Webber International University JV 11-2 in Babson Park, Fla.

Luis Ferrer appears to have recovered from Tommy John surgery injury that sidelined him last season. The sophomore lefty started and picked up the win, working four innings and allowing one hit and no walks while striking out six.

Chavez Fernander, Pat Doudican, and Drew Marino worked in relief.

Isaiah Cullum homered, walked and scored twice.

Zach Diewert singled, walked three times, stole two bases, drove in a run, and scored three runs.

Raudy Martinez went 1-for-3 with three walks, an RBI, and a run scored.

Skylar Frey singled, tripled, scored once, stole two bases, and drove in two runs.

Cole Warken went 1-for-3 with three walks, a run, and an RBI.

Bradley Harmon had a single and a triple, stole a base, and scored tow runs.

Zach Scott singled and drove in a run.

The Eagles (3-0, No. 4 FCSAA, No. 11 NJCAA) play Florida Southern College JV Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Bing Tyus yard in Winter Haven.
