Eagles shut out Webber International JV

Polk State had 13 hits in a 10-0 eight-inning win over Webber International University JV today at Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven.

Zach Scott went 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Raudy Martinez singled, doubled, walked, drove in a run, stole two bases, and scored three runs.

Bradley Harmon had a 2-for-3 day with a double, a run, and three RBI.

Zach Biermann singled, doubled, and drove in a run.

Isaiah Cullum had a single, a walk, an RBI, and two runs.

Zach Diewert doubled and drove in a run.

Tyler DeClercq had a double and a run.

Cole Warken singled and scored a run.

Skylar Frey had a single and a stolen base.

Starting pitcher Drew Marino earned his first win of the season. In five innings he allowed two hits, walked one, and struck out five.

Cole Crowder pitched two no-hit innings, and Julio Blanco struck out three in one inning of work.

The Eagles (15-5, No. 2 FCSAA, No. 11 NJCAA) play Indian River State College tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven.
