Nearly 30 Major League Baseball scouts and college recruiters attended Polk State baseball's annual Scout Day on Oct. 6 at Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven.

The event gave Eagles players a chance to show their running, fielding, throwing, pitching, and hitting skills.  After those demonstrations, the players played an intra-squad game.

"We were fortunate the weather cooperated and thankful to the MLB organizations and four-year colleges that attended our Scout Day to evaluate our guys," said Head Coach Al Corbeil.
