They added a pair of runs in the sixth inning on an RBI single and a bases-loaded walk.
The Eagles threatened in the fourth when they loaded the bases with two out but failed to score.
They also put runners at second and third with two outs in the bottom of the ninth before making the final out.
The Eagles collected just six hits.

Starting pitcher Pat Doudican (0-1) took the loss. In four and one-third innings he gave up 2 runs on seven hits, walking four and striking out five.
