Eagles drop 7-4 decision to Southeastern

Polk State lost to Southeastern University B 7-4 last nightat Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven. 

The Eagles led 4-1 after three innings, but the Fire rallied for six runs in the fourth to gain a 7-4 advantage. 

Danny Berg went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, a sacrifice fly, a run, and an RBI. 

Nico Limoncelli doubled twice, stole a base, and scored a run. 

Sam Koruschak also had a pair of doubles along with a run and an RBI. 

Tor Sehnert went 2-for-2 with two walks and a run. 

Lazaro Rodriguez drove in a pair of runs. 

Starting pitcher Bryce Hill (0-2) took the loss. In three innings he allowed four runs on three hits and three walks, striking out five. 

Polk State (7-8) returns to action Friday against Lake-Sumter State College at 3 p.m. at Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven.
