Eagles win at Rollins College

Polk State defeated Rollins College 10-1 last night in Winter Park.  

Winning their second straight game, the Eagles collected 13 hits and 11 walks. Every batter reached base at least once, either with a hit or a walk. 

Jaisen Randolph had a busy night on the basepaths, going 3-for-3 with a double, two walks, two stolen bases, and four RBI. 

Nick Wells doubled twice, scored twice, and drove in a run. 

Dalton Boyd had three walks and two runs. 

Trent Sinkfield had a 2-for-5 game with a walk, a run, and a stolen base. 

Danny Berg collected four RBI with two hits, a walk, and a run. 

Sam Koruschak had a pair of singles, a walk, and a run. 

James Boldin singled, walked, scored a run, and drove in a run. 

Demetrio Rodriguez finished with a walk and a run. 

Drew Howard singled and scored.  

Jake Curry (2-0) started on the mound and got the win. In two shutout innings he gave up no hits and trsuck out two.  

Polk State (10-10) begins Suncoast Conference play Monday against St. Petersburg College at 6 p.m. at Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven.
