Polk State held Florida SouthWestern to four hits tonight in a 5-1 win at Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven.
The Eagles took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
The Buccaneers cut the lead to 3-1 in the fourth inning on a walk and two singles.
Polk State went ahead 4-1 in the seventh when Limoncelli again led off with a walk on a 3-2 pitch, advanced to second on a ground out by Berg, and scored on Sinkfield's two-out single.
The Eagles put their fifth run on the board in the eighth inning after Sam Koruschak singled, took second on a throwing error, and crossed the plate when Nick Wells drilled a 3-2 pitch into center field for a double.
Kyle Gamble earned the win, improving to 3-1. In five innings he held the Bucs to one run on four hits with a walk and four strikeouts.

Sinkfield went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI.
Koruschak also had a 2-for-4 night with a run and a stolen base.
Limoncelli walked four times, stole a base, and scored twice.
Wells finished with a double and an RBI.
Boldin singled, walked, and scored a run.
Berg had a single and a walk, while Gulakowski had a single and a run.
The Eagles (15-19, 5-9) play Florida SouthWestern (27-7, 9-4, No. 2 FCSAA, No. 8 NJCAA) again Friday at 5 p.m. in Fort Myers.
