Eagles win at St. Pete

Polk State defeated St. Petersburg College 10-6 last night in St. Petersburg.  

The Eagles collected 14 hits and drew four walks.  

Danny Berg went 4-for-5 with a run and a pair of doubles. 

Jaisen Randolph had a busy night on the base paths, hitting a single, scoring twice, driving in two runs, and stealing three bases.  

Brady Gulakowski drilled a solo home run, and Sam Koruschak walked twice and scored twice. 

James Boldin had a 2-for-4 game with a double, a walk, and two runs. 

Drew Howard singled twice, stole a base, and scored a run. 

Nico Limoncelli finished with a pair of singles, a run, a stolen base, and three RBI.

Trent Sinkfield doubled and drove in a run. 

Tor Sehnert had a walk and an RBI. 

Alex Goff pitched the first three innings, giving up five runs on six hits. He walked two and struck out four. 

Kyle Gamble allowed a run on four hits in three innings. 

Billy McKay held St. Pete to no runs on no hits while striking out five in the final three innings.  

The Eagles (20-21, 7-11) play State College of Florida tomorrow at 5 p.m. at Bing Tyus Yard in Winter Haven.
