As an Eagle, he led his team to back-to-back Suncoast Conference Championships in 2008 and 2009. In his last season, he averaged 15.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. The team finished 26-6, which was the best record in program history.

Former Eagle Lance Jeter Spanning the Globe
WINTER HAVEN — Former Polk State Men's Basketball player Lance Jeter was selected to play for a U.S. team in an international tournament in China June 28 to July 10.
Jeter, who just completed his first professional season for the Lasaulec Aris Tigers of Leeuwarden, Holland, led his team in scoring 16.8 points per game with 3.4 assists per game. He also started in the mid-season all-star game.
Prior to his arrival in Holland, Jeter was a standout at the University of Nebraska, starting all 55 games over his two seasons. He finished his career ranked 14th with 279 career assists – the highest total by a two-year player in program history. As a senior, he was named the Jack Moore Award winner for team MVP.
