Eagles beat Broward for fourth win in a row

The Eagles handed Broward College its first loss of the year today, winning 84-79 in Winter Haven.

Polk State has a four-game winning streak.

Broward entered the game undefeated (6-0) and ranked No.6 in Florida.

At the half, Polk State led 41-39.

For the Eagles, Nigel Grant scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

Bernard Samuel also had seven rebounds, along with 13 points and five assists.

Tohi Smith-Milner and Jaleo Wilkes each scored 13 points.

Shafeek Taylor had six rebounds and four assists.

Reger Baker also grabbed six rebounds 

The Eagles (5-3) travel to Gainesville on Nov. 25 to face Santa Fe College.
