Reger Baker had a career-high 20 points tonight as Polk State defeated Red Devil Prep 100-53 in Winter Haven. He also led the Eagles with 13 rebounds.

Darelle Porter also scored 20 for the Eagles and pulled down seven rebounds.

Djuro Pantos added 16 points, and Tohi Smith-Milner tallied 14 points and nine rebounds.

Bernard Samuel had six assists, while Elijah Cottrill and Shafeek Taylor each recorded five.

"There was no doubt we were the better team tonight, and yet we did what we had to do to show it," said Head Coach Matt Furjanic.

"I'm pleased with the effort. That's the main thing we want every game. I'm proud of the way the kids worked hard. We had a good practice yesterday, and now we have to carry this over, have some more good practices, play well Thursday, and get ready for conference play.

The Eagles (14-6) play Pasco-Hernando State College on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Winter Haven.
