Eagles beat Hillsborough for third time this season

Polk State won its second game in a row tonight, beating Hillsborough Community College 59-53 in Tampa. 

With the victory, the Eagles improved to 3-0 against the Hawks this season. 

Polk State led 23-20 at halftime. 

Tohi Smith-Milner led the Eagles with 17 points. 

Bernard Samuel had 10 points, while Shafeek Taylor recorded eight and Darelle Porter tallied seven. 

The Eagles (20-8, 5-2) face State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Winter Haven.
