Eagles get big win against Manatees

Polk State defeated State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota 105-75 today in Bradenton. 

The Eagles led at halftime 53-35. They had their largest lead of the game, 93-58, with seven minutes remaining in the game. 

Darelle Porter led the Eagles with 20 points. 

Karim Mouliom scored 19. 

Troy Simons had 18 points. He made three three-pointers and hit all seven of his free throws. 

Dominique Reid finished with 16 points, and Elijah Cottrill had 14. 

The Eagles (22-7, 7-1, No. 6 FCSAA) will play St. Petersburg for the Suncoast Conference championship Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. in Winter Haven.
