Former Eagles active in pro basketball

Ten former Polk State Eagles currently play in various levels of professional basketball.

In Sweden, Robert Gilchrist started his first season with BC Lulea in the Swedish Basketligan. 

Ante Gospic plays in Croatia for KK Vrijednosnice Osijek. In his first season with the team he averages 16.1 points per game, 6.3 rebounds per game, and 1.8 assists per game. 

In Italy, Shaheed Davis sees action for MIA-Red October Cantu.  He averages 5.1 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game in his first season with the team. 

Tohi Smith-Milner began his first season with the Australian National Basketball League's Melbourne United.  

Antonio Bishop started his second season with Erebuni Yerevan of the Armenian League A. He averages 19.6 points per game and 11.2 rebounds per game. 

"It's great to see Polk State alums continuing their basketball careers, especially at some of the highest levels," said Head Coach Brandon Giles. 

"It just goes to show the type of talent Coach Matt Furjanic was able to bring to Polk State College."

Bane Labudovic plays for Tamis in Serbia's KLS Basketball League.  

Shavanno Cooper is with Chocolates Trapa Palencia in Spain's Liga Española de Baloncesto. 
Destin Damachoua plays for SO Pont de Cheruy Charvieu Chavaboz of the French Basketball League. 

Nigel Grant plays for Nift Al-Janoub in the Iraqi IBL.

Darrell Porter competes for Team Atlanta in the Eurobasket Summer League.
