Malcolm Stevenson of Polk State basketball signed a letter of intent today to continue his athletic and academic career at Queens University of Charlotte (N.C.).

A sophomore guard from Orlando, Stevenson averages 15 points-per-game, shooting 60 percent on field goals and 72 percent at the free-throw line.

"Malcolm is a great human being with qualities that will take him a long way in life," said Head Coach Brandon Giles.

"He's been through a lot and I am extremely happy to see him fight through all of the adversity and continue to live out his dream and become a college student-athlete. I have no doubt in my mind he will make the Queens fan base, faculty, and staff proud. They just got a great one!"
