Polk State basketball won its third straight game last night, beating the Hillsborough Community College Hawks 78-69 in Tampa.   

Malcolm Stevenson led the Eagles with 21 points. 

Also scoring in double figures were Tekorian "TK" Smith (18), Clarence Jackson (11), and Kameron Pauldo (11). 

Tommie Lewis finished with 9 points. 

The Eagles (14-5, 2-1, No. 8 FCSAA) continue Suncoast Conference play Saturday against Florida SouthWestern State College (20-1, 3-0, No. 1 FCSAA, No. 2 NJCAA) at 4 p.m. in Winter Haven.
