"Florida SouthWestern is a really good and talented team," said Head Coach Brandon Giles. "They have the most talent we have faced all season.

"They do a good job of defending and making it tough on people. That's just what they did to us tonight.

"I believe in our team and know we will respond on Wednesday here on our home floor."

The Eagles (14-6, 2-2, No. 8 FCSAA) continue Suncoast Conference play Wednesday against State College of Florida (17-5, 3-1, No. 4 FCSAA) at 7 p.m. in Winter Haven.
