Eagles take two today

Kayla Montgomery got her 10th win of the season today. She also went 2-for-3 at the plate, driving in 3 runs.

In softball action the Eagles won twice today, beating Minot State University JV 9-0 (5 innings) and Burlington County Community College 12-1 (6 innings) in Clermont.  

Against Minot State, winning pitcher Haleigh Corbally (8-3) walked one and struck out one. 

On offense, Maggie Roberts (2-for-3) doubled and drove in 3 runs, Deanna Littles (2-for-3) hit a double and collected 3 RBI, and Kara Seymoour (2-for-3) drove in a run. 

In the second game, Kayla Montgomery (10-3) got the win while striking out nine. She also helped her cause at the plate, going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI.

Maggie Roberts also went 2-for-3 with an RBI while hitting her 11th home run of the season. 

Kaitlyn Warren (3-for-4) doubled, tripled, and drove in a run. 

With the wins, the Eagles improve to 25-8. They play another doubleheader in Clermont tomorrow, taking on Highland Community College (Illinois) at 1 p.m, and facing St. Clair Community College at 3 p.m.
