Eagles soccer players receive All-Region recognition

Eight Polk State Eagles have earned places on the 2014 NJCAA Region 8 Women's Soccer All-Region Team. 

Named to the first team were Kellee Brown (Plant City), Hannah Davis (Arnold, Md.), Cristina Gutierrez (Plant City), and Sarah McKinney (Fruitland Park). 

Second team members include Alexis Arroyo (Port Charlotte), Jada Humpheries (Tampa), Kelsey Lewis (Merritt Island), and Kara Quintanilla (Auburndale). 

Head Coach Steve Linamen said, "I'm proud of what these ladies were able to accomplish this season. All eight were vital to our success and the recognition is well deserved."
