Knott leads Eagles past ASA College

The Polk State Eagles soared to their second win of the season today, defeating ASA College 6-0 in Hialeah, Fla. 

Laura Knott had a hat trick for the Eagles, scoring three consecutive goals. She had assists from Lily O'Brien, Madison Politis, and Jordan Gines

Politis, with an assist from O'Brien, and Kyah van Deutekom also put the ball in the net. 

"We're starting to put things together and get back on track," said Head Coach Steve Linamen. 

"We're looking forward to our Georgia trip as well as getting a few of our injured players cleared to play." 

 The Eagles took 17 shots on goal and made five goalkeeper saves. 

ASA College had seven shots on goal and six keeper saves. 

The Eagles (2-3-1) return to action Oct. 13 and Oct. 15 when they travel to Cuthbert, Ga., to take on Andrew College and Motlow State Community College.
