Dickie and Knott lead Eagles to 2-1 road victory

The Polk State Eagles defeated Andrew College 2-1 today in Cuthbert, Ga.

After Andrew scored first in the 44th minute, Kaitlyn Dickie's goal in the 73rd minute evened the score.

Six minutes later, Laura Knott scored the winning goal with an assist by Briana Case.

"We had a positive result today with lots of possession," said Head Coach Steve Linamen. "But we need to do a better job in the final third.

"We're looking forward to Sunday's game.

The Eagles too 19 shots on goal and made one goalkeeper save.

Andrew College attempted six shots on goal and had five keeper saves. 

The Eagles (3-4-1) remain in Cuthbert to play Motlow State Community College on Sunday.
