Eagles Drop 3-0 Contest to Miami Dade in District Championship Game

JACKSONVILLE - The volleyball team lost to Miami Dade College 3-0 (16-25, 23-25, 15-25) in the District Championship of 2011 FCSAA Volleyball Tournament.

The Eagles were led by DiannMarie Rivera-Romero (San Juan, Puerto Rico) with 13 Kills and four digs. Kahoriz Feliz Florian (Santo Domingo, DR) provided eight kills and Rachel Aguilar (Caracas, Venezuela) had 14 assists and 5 digs. Ileanuska Maldonado (Puerto Rico) had 13 digs and three assists.

The Eagles finished the season as the Suncoast Conference Champions and with an overall record of 25-12.
