Getting To Know: Rachel Aguilar
WINTER HAVEN — Polk State Volleyball had the best season in the program's history during the 2011-12 season and one player who had a lot to do with the team's success this past season was Rachel Aguilar. This season the Eagles won their first conference championship, their biggest winning season at 25-12 and another first, a No. 3 ranking in the state ranking poll.
Aguilar, who was a freshman on the Polk's 2011 roster, will be a key returner for the Eagles in 2012. The Venezuela native recently sat down with Sports Information Coordinator Terrell Elliston to see what keeps her busy off the court.
