Eagles win one, lose match against No. 15 Missouri State-West Plains

Playing on the road for the second consecutive night, the Polk State volleyball team lost 3-1 (12-25, 23-25, 25-23, 20-25) tonight in Ocala, Fla., against No. 15 Missouri State University-West Plains. 

Alejandra Robles led the Eagles in assists with 50. Genesis Castillo had 15 kills, while Laina Blanton made five blocks. Zoemy Barreto tallied 17 kills and 13 digs. Suheily Colon added 10 kills and three blocks. 

The Eagles (3-7) hit the road Sept. 16 to face Daytona State College.
