Eagles fall to Saints on the road

The Polk State Eagles lost to the Santa Fe College Saints (25-27, 25-21, 20-25, 16-25) today in Gainesville. 

For the Eagles, Rossanna Ramos had 29 digs, earning a spot in the 25 Dig Club for the fifth time this season. 

Shatorreia Edgecombe made 14 kills, while Suheily Colon added four kills and five blocks. 

Dayanna Teixeira had six kills, Laina Blanton made four blocks, and Genesis Castillo added two blocks. 

The Eagles (14-19, 6-2) play their final home match of the season Monday, Oct. 27, against Eastern Florida State College. They end the regular season with matches against College of Central Florida and Indian River State College on Oct. 29 in Ocala.
