Eagles beat St. Pete for ninth straight win

Polk State won its ninth straight volleyball match tonight 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-20) over St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg. 

With the victory, the Eagles stayed undefeated and in first place in the Suncoast Conference. 

Zoemy Barreto had 11 kills, 10 digs, two blocks, and an ace. 

Elisabeth Piroli recorded 35 assists, 11 digs, five kills, two blocks, and an ace. 

Yue Wu posted double figures in kills (15) and digs (12). 

Laina Blanton made six blocks, three kills, one dig, and one assist. 

Dayanna Teixeira tallied seven kills, six digs, and five blocks. 

Keisha Santana finished with 13 digs, three assists, an ace, and a kill. 

Suheily Colon added three kills, three digs, and one block. 

Nicole Boots had five digs and an assist.
