-- Four Polk State volleyball players plan to continue their athletic and academic careers at four-year universities.

The players and the schools to which they have committed are:

"These sophomores were very instrumental in helping us to have great seasons in back-to-back years," said Head Coach German Del Valle.

"They are all very dedicated and hard working, and I feel that is a testament to why they are going on to play at the next level.

"I am happy that they all earned the opportunity to continue playing, and I believe that they will do well at their universities.

"This class of student-athletes has truly been a pleasure to coach because they have believed in what we do at Polk State, and it has been exciting to see how they all have developed over time.

"In our gym we spend time talking about what it takes to be a part of the Eagle Family, and I have no doubt in my mind that these student-athletes will be Eagles forever."
