Eagles get road win at Eastern Florida

Polk State volleyball won its third straight match tonight, defeating Eastern Florida State College 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-18) in Melbourne. 

Nicky Pio had 28 assists for the Eagles, along with six digs, four kills, two blocks, and three aces. 

Kathya Garcia made 12 kills, six digs, a block, and a pair of aces. 

Weiying Wu recorded eight kills. 

Anilise Fitzi added four kills, four blocks, and an ace. 

Chiara Bosetti contributed seven digs, an assist, and an ace. 

Diana Carranza also made seven digs, along with two assists. 

Veronika Nemcova had four digs, a kill, a block, and an ace. 

Dominika Nemcova finished with two kills. 

Alexa Barral made two blocks and a kill. 

The Eagles (5-2, No. 4 FCSAA) hit the road again Thursday for a 7 p.m. match at Lake-Sumter State College.
