Ibarguen, Vigil named to all-tournament team

Manuela Ibarguen and Aixa Vigil of Polk State volleyball have been named to the Rose City Volleyball Classic all-tournament team this past weekend at Tyler, Texas. 

They were two of 12 players selected for the team. 

Ibarguen and Vigil helped lead the Eagles to wins in four matches. 

Ibarguen, a freshman outside hitter from Rio Negro, Colombia, had 39 digs, 24 kills, five aces, four assists, and three blocks. 

A sophomore outside hitter from Lima, Peru, Vigil made 46 kills, 46 digs, eight aces, five blocks, and two assists. 

Polk State (5-0, No.2 FCSAA) plays Florida SouthWestern State College (3-2) Friday at 2 p.m. in Winter Haven.
