Polk State volleyball remains undefeated today after a 3-0 winover Florida SouthWestern State College in Winter Haven.
The Eagles won 25-18, 25-17, and 25-16 for their sixth straight victory.
"Today we had a test about dealing with adversity, and I think that's good for us," said Head Coach German Del Valle.
"At times our hitters weren't comfortable and we could have served and passed better. But we did a good job staying calm and coming back when we trailed.
"Serving and passing at any level is the way to go to win volleyball, and everyone on this team is working to win."
Leading the Eagles with 14 kills, Manuela Ibarguen also had seven digs, a block, an assist, and a pair of aces.
Milexa Cardona recorded a team-high 28 assists along with 11 digs and an ace.

Aixa Vigil reached double figures in kills (12) and digs (11).
Playing her first game this season, Mariane Cassiano made seven kills, seven digs, a block, and an assist.
Suared Molina contributed 10 digs and for assists.
Nina Finderle made three kills, three blocks, and an assist.
Valentina Bahamon finished with four digs and three blocks.
Nicole Kuchma added a dig and a pair of aces.
The Eagles (6-0, No. 2 FCSAA) return to action Sept. 6, when they face Santa Fe College and Monroe College at the Daytona State College Volleyball Invitational in Daytona Beach.
