Manuela Ibarguen receives All-America honors

Manuela Ibarguen of Polk State has been named a First-Team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.  

She is one of four freshmen on the 12-person squad of Division 1 players. 

An outside hitter from Rio Negro, Colombia, she earned Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year, First-Team All Mid-Florida Conference, and NJCAA All-Region/FCSAA All-State honors. 

Ibarguen helped lead the Eagles to a second consecutive Mid-Florida Conference championship and a fourth-place finish at the NJCAA Division 1 Volleyball Championship.
