FRESHMAN SEASON (2026)
Shyla de Lautour played in 46 games for Polk State as a freshman, batting .252 with four doubles, 19 RBIs and five stolen bases. de Lautour had a career day against Seminole State College of Florida on March 17 in a 13-9 win, setting a career-high with three hits and tying a career-high with two runs scored and three RBIs. She also had her first career double in the win. de Lautour also had three RBIs and set a season-high with two steals in a win over Hillsborough College on March 20. She had three hits in the regular season finale against College of Central Florida on May 4. She finished the season with seven multi-hit games and five contests in which she scored twice.

BIO:
The daughter of Paul -- Head Coach for the Canterbury Red Sox men's softball team -- and Suzy de Lautour, Shyla de Lautour is a native of New Zealand and one of two children. She has a brother named Dru. In New Zealand, she competed on the national U15 and U18 teams. She was also part of Canterbury's 15U, 17U and 19U teams. Her secondary sport in New Zealand was netball.
