PREVIEW

• Wednesday's matchup in Gainesville will be between the last two winless teams in Citrus Conference play. Polk State College and Santa Fe College split the two meetings last year. The Eagles won the regular-season finale in Gainesville in straight sets to clinch a spot in the FCSAA Tournament.

• In Saturday's loss to Eastern Florida State College, Dublin Fitzgerald had all 11 kills for Polk State while Ana Martinez had 17 digs. Those are the highest totals for Eagles so far this season in conference play.

• Polk State's Jasmine Mahoney ranks eighth in the FCSAA, averaging 3.6 assists per set. Mahoney has hit double digits in that category in each of the Eagles' last eight contests.

• Polk State fell to Florida SouthWestern State College in straight sets in Fort Myers to open Citrus play on Sept. 16. Isabela Candido led the Buccaneers with 15 kills in that one. She ranks second in the FCSAA, averaging 3.16 kills per set this season.

• Santa Fe's Selena Placide leads the FCSAA, averaging 1.24 blocks per set. Bianca Hicks leads the Saints and the FCSAA by averaging 4.41 digs per set.

PREVIEW

• Polk State played No. 2 Daytona State College to a 1-1 draw last week in Lakeland. Riley Whale scored her first goal of the season for the Eagles while Sofia Zapata finished with 10 saves. Zapata now leads the FCSAA with 33 saves this season.

• Polk State's Kaylin Allen remains tied for fourth in the FCSAA with four assists. 

• Jaycie Noble ranks fourth with 32 shots this season. Noble led Polk State with three shots in last week's draw with Daytona State. 

• Eastern Florida State College beat Polk State 3-0 when the teams met in Lakeland on Sept. 16. Esme Johnson scored two goals for the Titans on penalty kicks. Johnson leads the Titans with four goals this season.

• With a win on Wednesday, Polk State would move into a tie for third-place in the FCSAA. The Eagles have not defeated Eastern Florida State in Melbourne since 2010.
