SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Caldwelll was part of a solid trio of starting pitchers for Polk State in 2024. The lefty posted a 4-7 record with a 3.68 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 71 innings. He threw his first career complete game on March 9 in an 8-2 win over Hillsborough Community College. Caldwell allowed just an earned run on five hits in the victory. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
Caldwell appeared in 16 games as a freshman, compiling a 3-2 record and 4.32 ERA. Caldwell struck out 69 batters in 50 innings. He picked up his first collegiate win on Feb. 7 against Webber International University JV -- Polk State's first win of the season. 

BIO: 
Caldwell played high school baseball for Head Coach TC Boyd at Rockmart High School, where he had 102 strikeouts with a sub-two ERA. The son of Ty Caldwell and Ellie Buchanon, Caldwell has one brother, Zonder Buchanon. Caldwell enjoys going to the gym and playing golf. He is committed to Jacksonville State University.
