SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Butler emerged as the ace of the pitching staff for the Eagles in 2024. As a sophomore, the 6-foot-6 right-hander finished with an 8-4 record and 3.67 ERA. Butler led the Eagles with two complete games while ranking third in the FCSAA in wins, fourth in innings pitched (81), and fifth in strikeouts (83). At one point in the season, Butler won five straight starts. Butler would finish his sophomore season as a first-team All-Citrus Conference selection and a second-team All-FCSAA honoree. A Florida State University signee, Butler was recognized internally as the Eagle of the Month for March. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
As a freshman, Butler ranked second on the team with 22 appearances, including five starts, and 56.2 innings pitched. He finished the season with a 3-4 record, 5.72 ERA, one save, and 50 strikeouts. Butler picked up his first win on Feb. 10 in an 8-6 win over Lake-Sumter State College. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a member of a North Florida Christian team that was District and Regional Champions, as well as FHSAA State Runners-Up. Butler was the Player of the game in the Florida State All-Star game and was runner-up for Florida State Pitcher of the Year.

PERSONAL: Son of Chris and Heather. Aiden's mom, Heather played softball at UCLA and won three national championships and also was a member of the USA National Softball Team.

MEDIA GUIDE BIO: Aiden Butler begins his second year at Polk State. Last season, Butler made 22 appearances with five starts. Pitching in 56 innings, Butler had 50 strikeouts and picked up a save. Butler played high school baseball for Head Coach Mike Posey at North Florida Christian School. As a senior, Butler posted a 2.33 ERA. He is the son of Chris Butler and Heather Compton-Butler. He also has a sister named Charley. Butler enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
