Biography

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Awarded a scholarship, Rivera played in 55 of Polk State's 58 games as a sophomore. Rivera batted .288 with one home run and 30 RBIs. He tied for third on the team with 10 doubles. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
As a freshman, Rivera hit .276 with two home runs and 13 RBIs. A walk-on, Rivera appeared in 42 games for Polk State. He posted a .413 on-base percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL: Voted All-County and a member of a District Championship team his junior year at J.P. Taravella High School. 

PERSONAL: Son of Michelle and Ignacio. His dad, Ignacio, played basketball at Nova Southeastern University. His brother, Ignacio Jr., played baseball at Florida State College of Jacksonville. Aris' favorite athletic team is the New York Yankees. He enjoys working out in his spare time, his favorite tv show is George Lopez, and his favorite movie is The Dark Knight. Rivera is committed to the University of Central Florida.
