FRESHMAN SEASON (2025 at University of Florida)
Montsdeoca made eight appearances for the University of Florida, posting a 7.27 ERA and six strikeouts in 8.2 innings. He tossed 2.2 scoreless innings of relief in the NCAA Tournament against East Carolina University on May 30, tying a career-high with two strikeouts.

BIO:
The son of Adam Montsdeoca and Amy Cherry, Carson Montsdeoca returns to Polk County after spending the 2025 season at the University of Florida where he appeared in eight games. Prior to that, Montsdeoca played at Fort Meade High School for Head Coach John Spradlin. In 54 games, he hit. 362 with 64 hits, 38 RBIs, 17 doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 58 runs scored. As a pitcher, he made 17 starts, posting 13 wins, three complete games and a save. As a quarterback for the football team, Montsdeoca threw for more than 3,000 yards and 45 touchdowns. Montsdeoca likes fishing and hunting in his spare time. His favorite movie is Top Gun and favorite food is steak. He has one sibling named Ty Montsdeoca.
