Barrett enters his first season as an assistant baseball coach at Polk State College.
Prior to Polk, Jordan was an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Florida Southern College, where he worked with pitchers on both the varsity and JV programs. He also assisted with scouting reports and recruiting at Florida Southern.
Barrett has also spent time coaching in the Florida Gulf Coast League, where he helped coach pitchers for the St. Pete Tide.
Barrett was a standout pitcher at Polk State College from 2014-2015, helping the Eagles earn Suncoast Conference Championships both seasons he competed. Jordan moved on to conclude his collegiate career at NCAA Division I Elon University, where he served as a team captain his senior season.
Jordan was drafted in the 18th round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. Barrett enjoyed a three year career in the Blue Jays organization before competing professionally for three more seasons with the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League.
