SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Koehler was named first-team All-Citrus Conference and second-team All-FCSAA for the second straight season as a sophomore. Koehler tied teammate Aiden Butler for the team lead in wins. He posted an 8-5 record and 4.11 ERA in 15 appearances -- 14 starts. Koehler threw 76.2 innings, striking out 68 batters. He had one complete game. He tied a career-high with 11 strikeouts in a 9-2 win over Seminole State College of Florida on Sophomore Night on April 18. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
Koehler made 14 pitching appearances, 13 starts, as a freshman, posting a 7-1 record, 3.33 ERA. He struck out 92 batters in 75 innings of work. Koehler earned first-team All-Suncoast Conference and second-team All-FCSAA honors. He struck out a career-high 11 batters on March 29 in a 5-2 win over State College of Florida. He tossed the only complete game of the season for the Eagles, allowing just two unearned runs on five hits in a 10-2 win over St. Petersburg College on April 14. With a quality start in a 5-3 win over Northwest Florida State College on May 5, Koehler became the first Polk State pitcher to earn a win in the FCSAA Tournament since 2017.

HIGH SCHOOL: District 9 Player of the Year at University High School in 2021. Named First Team All-District in 2021 and 2022. Was a finalist for the Volusia/Flagler County Baseball Player of the Year award in 2021. Was a member of the University team that won the District 9 Championship in 2022. Koehler played high school baseball for Head Coach Jake Norman.

PERSONAL: Son of Wendi. Evan's favorite athletic teams are the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Rams. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, working out, and painting. He has signed with the University of South Florida.
