Polk State College

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024):
Pettay played in 57 of Polk State's 58 games in his lone season with the program. He finished with a .251 batting average, two home runs and 19 RBIs. Pettay finished tied for the team lead with 37 runs scored and led the Eagles with 21 stolen bases. Pettay had the walk-off hit in Polk State's 2-1 win over Daytona State College on March 24.

BEFORE POLK STATE:
As a freshman in 2023, Pettay appeared in 16 games for the University of Central Florida, where he recorded an on-base percentage of .450. Pettay went 2-for-13 with two runs scored.

BIO:
Pettay played varsity baseball for Head Coach Scott Grove at The First Academy in Orlando. He hit .473 as a senior. Pettay also played in the National High School Invitational in Cary, N.C. and power baseball under Brian Dempsey. Pettay is the son of Krisdil and Oscar Pettay and has one sister named Genesis. A state champion in high school, he enjoys fishing and listening to country music. He signed to continue his career at the University of South Alabama.
