FRESHMAN SEASON (2026)
Porter appeared in 22 games for Polk State as a freshman, recording a team-leading five saves -- good for eighth in the FCSAA. Porter worked 25.1 innings and struck out 28 batters. He picked up his first career save by working a scoreless inning in a 9-6 win over Lake-Sumter State College on Feb. 7. Porter threw a season-high three innings in a 5-4 loss to Hillsborough College on March 26. In a loss to Seminole State College of Florida on March 1, Porter struck out a season-high four.

BIO:
Hayden Porter comes to Polk State from Bloomingdale High School. For Coach Kris Wilkin, Porter pitched 128 innings and recorded 153 strikeouts. He won Bloomingdale MVP, Pitcher of the Year and was a two-time All-813 Preps selection. The son of Jacob and Corrinne Porter, he has two siblings named Garrett and Hampton. Off the field, he enjoys hamburgers, fishing, lifting weights, golfing and hunting. His favorite movie is Tommy Boy.
