Biography

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2025)
As a sophomore in 2025, Thomas played in 48 games for Polk State, batting a team-best .364 to go with one home run and 36 RBIs. In addition to batting average, Thomas also led the team in on-base percentage (.428) and triples (3). Thomas had 18 multi-hits games for the season, including four hits in wins over Florida Southern College (B) on March 11 and Daytona State College on March 22. Thomas had his first career lead-off home run in a win over Webber International University (B) on April 1. Thomas scored three runs in a game three times and set a career-high with five RBIs against Lake-Sumter State College on April 8. A second-team All-Citrus Conference selection, Thomas also won an FCSAA Gold Glove and was named FCSAA Defensive Player of the Year. He finished the season with a perfect fielding percentage. His six outfield assists was tops in the FCSAA among players with a 1.000 fielding percentage.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2024)
A mainstay in the outfield as a freshman, Thomas played in 50 games for Polk State. Thomas finished the season with a .277 batting average, two home runs, 26 RBIs, and 14 stolen bases. Thomas hit his first career home run in a 9-5 win over Chipola College on Jan. 26 at the JUCO Early Bird Kickoff. Thomas finished the season strong, going 5-for-8 with a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored in the Niceville Regional against Northwest Florida State College. He finished with multiple hits in six of his final 11 games. 

BIO:
Jordan Thomas played varsity baseball for Coach Gene Reynolds at Georgia Premier Academy. For his high school career, Thomas played in 113 games with 89 hits, 74 runs scored, 55 RBIs, 18 doubles, five triples, and four home runs. Born July 26, 2004, the Loganville, Ga. native goes by “JT.”  Thomas is a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, and Braves outfielder Michael Harris II. Off the field, Thomas likes to watch the Outer Banks, eat salmon with rice, fish, and spend time with family. His fondest high school memory is participating in the Perfect Game Showdown. The son of Eric Thomas, he has a brother named Jackson.
