REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2025)
Acevedo appeared in all 55 games for Polk State as a freshman. Acevedo finished the year by hitting .273. He led the team with 40 runs scored and 11 doubles. Acevedo added a triple and 11 stolen bases. His 53 hits ranked second to Jordan Thomas. Acevedo finished the season with 14 multi-hit games, recording three hits on four different occasions. He scored three runs in a game three times. Acevedo drove in two runs against Hillsborough Community College on March 8. He recorded a pair of stolen bases at Lake-Sumter State College on April 8.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2024)
Acevedo did not appear in any games for Polk State as a freshman in 2024. He received a redshirt.

BIO:
Acevedo played varsity baseball for Head Coach David Shafer at Winter Haven High School. As a senior, he hit .317 with a home run and 18 RBIs. An infielder from Puerto Rico, Acevedo is a fan of the New York Mets and infielder Francisco Lindor. Acevedo enjoys the TV show Vikings, eating pizza, vacationing in Puerto Rico, playing video games, going to the gym, and listening to music. For two straight seasons, Acevedo represented the U.S. in the DRD International Baseball Academies Tournament in Puerto Rico. The son of Ely Santiago and Edwin Acevedo, he has two sisters, Elisa and Sahila.
