FRESHMAN SEASON (2025)
Brunet appeared in 41 games for Polk State, spending time behind the plate, in the outfield, and at first base. Brunet emerged as a dependable bat off the bench for Polk State, finishing the year with a .281 average, three home runs, and 18 RBIs. His first career home run was a three-run pinch-hit blast at State College of Florida that gave Polk State a 4-3 lead and served as the game-winner on Feb. 20. Brunet added a pinch-hit walk-off single in a 7-6 win over Hillsborough Community College on March 8. He homered in the second game of the doubleheader later in the day. Brunet set a career-high with three hits against St. Petersburg College on April 10.

BIO:
Brunet arrives at Polk State following a senior at Gaither High School in which he hit .293 with 12 hits, 10 RBIs, three doubles, a home run, and an on-base percentage of .407. Known as “Kev,” he was born Nov. 10, 2005, to Carlos Brunet and Nereyda Brito. A fan of the Tampa Bay Rays and former Rays All-Star third baseman Evan Longoria, Brunet’s fondest baseball memory is homering in his high school’s district championship game. Off the field, he enjoys watching The Martian, playing Brawl Stars online, and visiting Sand Key Beach.
