SOPHOMORE SEASON (2025)
A mainstay in the middle of the Polk State order, O'Neil appeared in all 55 games for thge Eagles as a sophomore. O'Neil hit .268 and finished second on the team with seven home runs and 36 RBIs. He added six doubles and 25 runs scored. O'Neil set season-highs with three hits and four RBIs in a 19-9 win over Webber International University (B) on April 1. He finished with four RBIs again a week later in a 15-10 win over Lake-Sumter State College. O'Neil was named Polk State's Male Academic Athlete of the Year during the first annual STARS Ceremony in April. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2024)
O'Neil shined as a freshman for Polk State, earning second-team All-Citrus Conference honors. He batted .289 with a team-leading eight home runs and 31 RBIs. O'Neil had the first multi-home run game of the season for the Eagles on April 4 when he homered twice, including a first-inning grand slam, in a 13-5 win over Eastern Florida State College.

BIO: 
O’Neil played high school baseball for Coach Tommy Boss at Providence School of Jacksonville. As a senior, O’Neil posted a .417 batting average, .769 slugging percentage, and .547 on-base percentage. Born Dec. 23, 2003, to Thomas and Kristine O’Neil, he is one of five children with brothers named Tommy and Brandon and sisters named Caroline and Maeve. Nicknamed “Grizz,” O’Neil is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and slugger Kyle Schwarber. O’Neil enjoys watching the movie The Boys, eating at Capital Grill, vacationing in Cape Cod, fishing, and playing Fortnite. His fondest high school memory was hitting a go-ahead three-run homer in the regional semifinal.
