Biography

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Served as a bullpen catcher at the University of North Florida in 2021 before making four starts in 13 appearances for the Ospreys in 2022. Stapleton hit .333 in 24 at-bats and was a member of the 2022 Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity letter winner at South Lake High school, winning a district title in 2019.

PERSONAL: Son of Kevin and Betty. His dad, Kevin, played basketball at the State College of Florida and his mom, Betty, played softball at Liberty University. Travis' favorite athletic team is the Philadelphia Phillies and his favorite athlete is Bryce Harper. In his spare time, he enjoys wake surfing and his favorite food is steak.
